"Having always secret nailed using floor clamps in the past; really wish I'd found these earlier. They pull the boards together brilliantly. . . impressed with how they tightly pulled solid oak planks flush. Great for skirting board too. They leave a tiny hole. Ignore the 'no need for pilot hole' and save yourself the inevitable split every so often."

"I was nervous of these given the one bad review on here, but needn't have been. They're good quality and strong, and the two supplied T10 bits did a solid job of driving these screws in. Zero breakages. Used them to secure Oak flooring to underfloor to prevent squeaking. Good job done!"

"Used these to put up secret fix for T&G external Cedar cladding and they were perfect for the job. Had used stainless steel ring shank nails before but these are superior in every way - particularly when we needed to remove a couple of boards. They are narrower in diameter than the specific facade screws also sold by Screwfix and therefore did not split the Cedar. They were also roughly half the price! Easy-start thread and no pilot holes - the job couldn't have been easier."

"Putting carpet over 50 year old squeaky boards could have been trouble but these have worked a treat. No split wood and have a better hold that expected."
